Are you interested in joining Royal Wootton Bassett Orchestra? We are a fun, friendly amateur orchestra and we give three concerts a year with occasional extra events. Members are expected to attend most rehearsals, but we are quite relaxed about this, and understand that other commitments may occasionally prevent you from coming.
We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings in the Methodists Church, Royal Wootton Bassett from 7.30pm to 9.15pm
We welcome players who can tackle music at a reasonably high standard, but there are no auditions. If you are Grade 5 equivalent or over you are probably good enough to join. The orchestra members are mostly adults, but young people are very welcome.
String players are always very welcome. Places for other instruments (regular members and guest players) vary from season to season according to our requirements.
Subscriptions are £20 a term (or £60 a year), half price for juniors.
